Ms Lauren's Class - Its reading time!

This week in Ms Lauren's Class we have been learning the first 12 sight words from our 100 Magic Sight Word Collection. The children have learnt that the first 12 words are called the 'Golden words' and make up a quarter of all the language used in popular texts. We have been reading the words a a group and the children have all been taking turns individually to try learning to read the words. We use our special sight word pointer to point to the words we want to try to read. We then also use our mini cards to try to play snap with the sight words and to try to find the words our friends choose for us.
Ms Lauren is very proud of how well everyone is doing.
We are learning to read! :)
