Today we used a purple string to measure how tall we are! We all took turns to be measured then when the string was cut down we held it up to see if it was correct. Then we all compared our strings to our other friends to see who is taller and smaller. We also displayed how tall we are in our classroom! Take a look! We will continue to explore non-standard units of measurement as part of our numeracy program, and we will have to try this activity again after we do some more growing!
