Class 5 - Freezing experiment

Today we  finally got to go outside and play! We've  been waiting for a chance to get outside  and set up our latest experiment. We want to find out whether small volumes of water freeze more quickly than large volumes of water. In order to find out, we are going to fill a small balloon and a large balloon up with water and leave them outside in the freezing temperatures. Our collection of hypotheses  is split right down the middle- half of our scientists predict that the small balloon will freeze fastest, and the other half think the big balloon  will freeze first.

We can't wait to get outside tomorrow and check on our experiment!
