Class 5 explores gravity

Today class 5 was super excited to find that the marble run box is back! It had been packed away in the run up to concert day- so we were very eager to get this old favourite back out! Some of us worked in teams and some of us built towers independently. Once we were done building we all came together to observe and discuss what we could see going on. Why do the smaller marbles seem to go down more quickly? Why does the marble seem to slow down on the wavy tracks compared to the straight ones?

We love to experiment!
