Class 3 & 5 - Seasonal Visual Art

Class 3 and 5 have been spending more time together in order to help Class 5's new teacher settle into the routine.
The result? Wonderful things!

Class 3 and 5 engaged in an exciting experience which allowed for them to create their very own 3D turkeys to celebrate Thanksgiving.

We began by gathering together all the supplies needed for the art experience. Once the materials were ready for use,  we applied glue onto Styrofoam balls and covered them with tissue paper. This allowed for the children to create their own representation of the turkey's body. When we finished creating our turkey's body, we assembled the tail by gluing fall leaves and feathers together and dazzling them up with jewels! To conclude, we added some googly eyes to our thanksgiving turkeys.

Above all, the art experience provided the children of Little Feet Little Faces with opportunity to gain greater understanding of thanksgiving and why it is celebrated. They were able to discover this by recognizing and remembering the things they are all grateful for.
