Class 5 - Chinese New Year Painting

Today Class 5 used their fingers to make something extra special to celebrate the Chinese New Year! We started by gathering the supplies needed, which were simply paint, white paper and brushes. We decided to use red, black and gold as a theme for this art project. Once all our materials were ready for use, we began making our unique cherry blossoms using our fingers by first creating our branches. Some of our friends preferred to use paint brushes, which optional. We added a pop of colour with red and gold to make our blossoms! This seemed to be class fives favourite part as they used the tips of their fingers to make them. Once our cherry blossoms were blossoming as bright as ever, we finished our Chinese New Year Art with a Chinese monkey! We are all so happy to be celebrating the Chinese New Year with all our friends here at LFLF! We can’t wait for you to see our spirit around the School!
