Class 1- Circus Music

Our friends from Class 1 played a musical game today where they imagined all the various places they would hear different musical sounds at. A place they had heard sounds at was of course, in our very own music/piano room. They mentioned that it's a place they get to make music in, as well as hearing other children make music when they hear the piano lessons happening. The children also practiced sitting together and listening to each other play instruments one at a time. Everyone did a great job waiting for their turn to play! After they were familiar with all the different sounds their instruments would make, they played all the instruments together like a real orchestra! The children played to steady beat as well as answered rhythm riddles. Finally Class 1 played a steady beat to musical accompaniment on the piano. The children were so excited to create music individually and together, like a real live band. Great beat-making today, Class 1!
