Class 2- Circus Toss Gross Motor Activity

Today during outdoor play, Class 2 engaged in a super fun tossing activity! Not only did we use our larger muscles to move our bodies but we also worked on our coordination skills! Furthermore, we cheered each other on as we took turns being the audience for our friends while we waited for our turn to toss. We did this by gathering chairs around the activity so that everyone was in a perfect view and had the opportunity of cheering a friend on! The goal of the tossing game is to try and get the object in the different buckets. Each bucket counts as a different level. The bucket nearest to the tosser is level 1, then 2 and 3 is the highest. Level 3 is the most difficult as it is the furthest one away and the bucket is small which makes it more challenging. Overall, Class 2 did an awesome job with their efforts and everyone all had a blast! We can't wait to do it again!

1.1 making friends

2.6 positive attitudes towards learning

4.5 observing

5.1 gross motor
