Class 1- Group Music Class

This week in Class 1 our little LFLF friends had a musical experience learning a new song 'Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear' during music class time. Class 1 learned the song words, melody and even fun teddy bear movements to accompany the words. They practiced listening to instructions, acting out the movements and also listening to the piano musical accompaniment with the lyrics. Before starting the music exercise they learned how to make a steady beat using various parts of the body. At first they learned to move their hands to the beat by clapping their hands and tapping their knees. The group of friends especially enjoyed using their hands and feet in making a steady beat to the song Johnny One Hammer. What a wonderfully musical time the friends in Class 1 had today in music class. We learned how much fun making a beat can be with song, music or movement. Great job friends, keep up the great work!
