Class 2- Learning About Poppies

Today Class 2 made poppies for the month of November. We made our poppies using paper plates, paint, tissue paper and glitter. To begin making our poppies, we set out paint in the colours of red, black and green. We started by painting our plates completely all red since poppies are red. Once the paint had dried, we glued on green tissue paper in the centre of our poppies and then painted the middle black just like a real poppy. It's incredible how real our poppies looked and we are extremely proud of them. We finished creating our poppies by adding that extra LFLF touch by shaking glitter on top to make them sparkle. Our poppies are a symbol of love and respect for the people who protected our country and they are extra special thanks to the LFLF touch! Stand tall and be proud of our veterans everyone!
