Celebrating the Holidays

As we celebrate some holidays and special times of the upcoming holiday season, some of the special holidays we discuss are Christmas and Hanukkah. This year is really special because Hanukkah falls on December 24th making it very close to Christmas, which the children have been very excited, talking about the closeness of the two holidays this year.

The children read stories and learn about the special traditions associated with both holidays that are celebrated by the children at LFLF. Along with learning about Hanukkah, the children created a 3-D star of David using blue paint, sparkles and some gems to display around the school, close to our Holiday tree. What a wonderful discussion and creative season we have had here so far at LFLF!
