Class 2- Symmetric butterflies

Today Class 2 created their very own symmetrical butterflies. We started this art activity by organizing our favourite paint colours. Everyone then got a paper and we folded them in half. Before we got started, Miss Irene showed an example to Class 2 by making a sample for them prior to beginning the art activity. In the example, Class 2 was able to see that only one wing of the butterfly is painted. Once it is painted, the wing is then folded over to the other wing to create a symmetrical pattern. Both sides now look identical! Once, Class 2 gained a better understanding, they had a blast creating their own symmetric butterfly! Great work friends!
